almotamar.net - SANAA-News Yemen site quoted sources inside the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) as mentioning about differences among the ranks of the JMP resulting from domination of the Yemeni Congregation for Reform Party (Islah), represented by Hamid al-Ahmar and its absolute hegemony on the rest of its partners.

The sources, the site described as reliable, said a number of JMP leaders began to feel a kind of dubiousness regarding behavior of al-Ahmar whose dealing with his partners in the JMP appeared to be out of imposing domination, guardianship and of subservience, taking advantage of his abundant spending on propaganda campaigns for the JMP candidate to impose this guardianship.

The sources added that those leaders try to conceal their differences at the present time taking into consideration that the elections have become characterized by the stamp of challenge. Other leader view that it is difficult to accept this situation and fear the elections will bring reversed results under the tribal domination imposed on them by Hamid al-Ahmar.
According to the sources the parties of the JMP have rejected Hamid al-Ahmar�s intentional exploitation of election propaganda campaigns in favor of his party the Islah and to brush aside the rest of the bloc�s parties as well as their role and his trial to build himself glory at the expense of those parties. According to News |Yemen site Hamid al-Ahmar and a group of his entourage stayed in a five-star hotel during his stay in the city of Taiz and refused other leaders of the JMP and their candidate Bin Shamlan to stay with him in the same hotel. Candidate bin Shamlan stayed in a cheap hotel.
