Almotamar.net - Deputy Chairman of the Supreme National Anti-Corruption Commission (SNACC) Dr Balqis Abu Isbaa revealed an intention by the SNACC to create a court specialised in issues of corruption in Yemen.

Dr Abu Isbaa said the SNACC is in the process of arranging for the court and to communicate with the Ministry of Justice and the Judiciary Higher Council for the establishment of the court.

The court would be concerned with speeding up in deciding the cases of anticorruption. She has drawn the attention that with cooperation with the judiciary the SNACC was able to create a prosecution specialised in cases of corruption and achieved big success in this area.

Ms Abu Isbaa has added that the SNACC referred 34 cases of corruption to the prosecution. She stressed the necessity of cooperation between the SNACC with the judiciary authorities.
