Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Monday the one who wants to assume the seat of power has to follow a civilized way and to come via the ballot boxes, whether in elections of parliament or presidential elections and away from vandalism and anarchy.

In a press conference he held in Sana�a Monday, attended by correspondents of local media outlets and correspondents of Arab and international media, President Saleh said, �Our people are great civilized people who distinguish between the bad and the good, such of those are imitators, whenever the state offered of concessions, the ceiling of demands rises, we tell them come on to dialogue and understanding.�

The President went on to say, �We are ready for debate through media outlets to exchange argument by argument and the freedom of opinion is guaranteed by peaceful and democratic methods and those demanding the departure of the regime, the departure is made via the ballot boxes and respect of the will of the Yemeni people, the authority is liability and not gain and the people are the reference.�
