Almotamar.net Mohammed Tahir - Al-Mukalla (south of Yemen)-From the park of Seyoun in downtown of the densely populated city to the 22 May parade square on the shore of al-Mukalla city a complete Hadrami tableau was formed in a rally behind Ali Abdullah Saleh the candidate of the General People�s Congress for the presidential elections.

In a spectacular colorful magnificent festival the population of al-Mukalla expressed their love for their leader embodied by fishermen dances and the typical dance of the sons of Hadramout as well as those of the youth accompanied by the folkloric music. The handicap of Roza Bashuaib did not prevent her from delivering a beautiful speech on reality of the woman and her rights in the era of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the maker of the unity and its democracy and freedom. The massive gathering covering the spacious square appeared in their chants more adhered to Ali Abdullah Saleh, confirming Seyoun�s and all Yemeni regions pledge of loyalty for the people�s will candidate. Tens of thousands of people came from the cities of Hadramout and its countryside to affirm their genuine love and appreciation and loyalty for the leader of the unity. They have expressed their support for Saleh in the 20th of September elections to continue the march of modernization, sustainable development and continuation of security and stability.
Chairman of the electoral campaign of the GPC candidate in al-Mukalla Dr. Ali Saleh Basura welcomed Ali Abdullah Saleh to Hadramout in the name of all notables, sheikhs, personages and businessmen, the scholars, professors and GPC leaders. He said, quoting the people of Hadramout, that the movement of change all over the governorate started on the 22nd of May 1990. Basura considered al-Mukalla as one example of the change and growth movement, clarifying that before that Hadramout was one of the examples of horror and fear under claims of reactionary and imperialism and any voice raised was choked before being heard by anyone. Addressing candidate Saleh, he said the people of Hadramout would remain men of construction and development and peace and they will support and help Saleh and all candidates of the GPC for the election platform that contained many of the sincere and realistic ambitions.
In his address o behalf of scholars, Sheikh Yasser Ba�abad addressed the president that the people of Hadramout had come to support security, stability, the strong and prestigious state, the order and law and Yes to Ali Abdullah Saleh. He said they have come to announce their rejection of deceit, chaos the influential, weapon wielders, tribalism, regionalism, enemies of development and centers of power. Sheikh Ba�abad said,� The socialist experiment has returned to us arms, and chaos through uprisings, nationalizations and militias and the unity was the end of the socialist concern and the gate to relief and good. But they have returned to the chaos and corruption that they attribute to the state, wearing two faces; they are the government in positions and opposition practicing corruption and oppose it, they spread chaos and demand for order thinking they can deceive us.�
The people of Socotra island, on the other hand, expressed their pleasure in the festival of the GPC candidate Sunday morning and their happiness for meeting the leader who broke the island�s isolation and connected it with the world after it was an exile for renegades of the YSP leaders during its regime before 1990, and the mass graveyards are still landmarks on the road of Hadiboh, capital of the island.
