Almotamar.net - SANAA- president Ali Abdullah Saleh, the candidate of the General People�s Congress (GPC) for the presidential elections has expressed his condolences for the families of victims of people who died as a result of citizens scramble while attending the election festival of the GPC�s candidate in the city of Ibb this morning.

In telephone conversation with families of the victims president Saleh said they are martyrs of democracy and loyalty. On the other hand the president instructed Mr. Yahya al-RAie, the GPC�s assistant secretary general to visit the injured people who are being hospitalized for treatment in the hospitals of al-Thawra, al-Nassr, al-Amin and Nasser. They were injured in the incident of scramble and over crowdedness in the election festival in Ibb.
