Almotamar.net - SANAA- Secretary-General of the General Peoples Congress (GPC) Abdulqader Bajammal has strongly welcomed all the Yemeni freemen and all the humanists in Yemen to the pulpit of the middle and moderation, the GPC.

In a statement to Alayyam newspaper on Monday Mr. Bajammal commented on of a number of leading members and cadres from the Islah and YSP parties and other parties of the JMP joining the GPC and said, In fact the democratic process is large and open and not closed and consequently any person from the GPC, the YSP, the Islah and any other organization is a right guaranteed in all laws and systems. It is also guaranteed in the human natural order. Freedom is the creation of God He bestowed to the human and under this creation of God, the political choices and moving from one organization to another are carried out. Some of them are for political reasons while other some for non- democratic practices inside the parties; others are for ideological reasons and change in the ideology. However, in my personal estimation the causes behind the transfer of some members of parties to other parties implies first of a healthy situation and indicates the parties they have deserted suffer from internal crisis of democracy.
Mr. Bajammal added the GPC is a gathering composition of the political theatre in Yemen because it is a party in the middle and does not dictate extreme ideological or tribal conditions or conditions of choice depending on the color or appearance. The GPC is the party of the middle and consequently people like the middle and do not want to complicate heir lives ideologies of fear and labyrinths of interests and their conflicts among wings of this party or that.
