By: almotamar.net - IBB- The General People's Congress (GPC)'s presidential candidate, Ali Abdullah Saleh, attended Tuesday an electoral rally held in Ibb city. During the rally, Saleh delivered a speech in which he greeted the people of Ibb governorate, thanking them for holding a great rally.
In his speech Saleh says,
"Great people of Ibb governorate,
Greetings,
I would like to thank you for this great crowd that came from all directions, from all villages and localities, willingly to this place. You didn't come from Taiz, Dhamar or Amran; nor did you come from Saadah, but only from Ibb governorate. Hail this heroic governorate that remained firm and challenged the elements of riot in the middle districts. Hail you, people of Ibb.
Ibb governorate had offered several martyrs defending the revolution, republic, unification, freedom and democracy� Great changes take place everywhere, not only in Ibb. You have made democratic transition, a change in security, development. These great achievements have been realized in cooperation with the faithful men of the country� We don't forget the role of women and youths in development. Future will be more prosperous, and we shall work to provide job opportunities and reduce poverty, fight corruption, corrupt and influential figures. Our Yemeni people are great� Our people will say yes for the makers of changes, of democracy, of freedom and development. These masses will vote for a president from among themselves, a president who is not an agent or hireling at all."
