By: almotamar.net - IBB- 43 people were killed and 145 were injured in a stadium stampede during a campaign rally for Ali Abdullah Saleh, presidential candidate of the General People's Congress (GPC) held Tuesday in Ibb governorate, security sources have told almotamar.net.
Saleh expressed his condolences for the families of victims. He considered them as martyrs of democracy and loyalty, directing concerned authorities to pay compensation for their families.
The GPC called for investigations to disclose those behind the incident.
