Almotamar.net - Thousands of women in the city of Thamar have taken to the streets on Thursday in support of the constitutional legitimacy and the initiatives launched by the President of the republic.
The demonstrators shouted slogans expressing support for the constitutional legitimacy and the political eldership represented by President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The demonstrators called on the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) to resort to reason and logic and return to the dialogue table for reaching logical solutions to come out of the present crisis and put the he national interest above private interests.

The demonstrators denounced the attempts to outflank the people�s will expressed via ballot boxes in the 2006 presidential elections as well as the attempt to outflank the democratic approach which Yemen has adopted as a sole option for the peaceful transfer of power.

The participants in the demonstration have also condemned acts of violence affected some public and private installations in some provinces of Yemen , in contradiction with the norms of the Yemeni people who reject all forms of violence , chaos and damaging the public and private interests.

The demonstrators called on all sons of the Yemeni people to rally behind the constitutional legitimacy and to undermine all conspiracies aimed against the homeland�s security, stability and unity.

They praised efforts of the armed forces and the security in defence of the homeland�s security, stability and unity.

They have renewed the pledge of loyalty to the President Ali Abdullah Saleh, confirming their readiness to sacrifice their souls for the security, stability and unity of the homeland.

While the demonstration marching from Al-Sebein square in the capital Sana�a to embassies of the Gulf Cooperation Council states , expressed their support for the (GCC) states efforts and Gulf initiative for contributing to put an end to the current political crisis in Yemen , calling on all political forces in the national area to return to the dialogue table.
