Almotamar.net - Foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states are to hold a meeting on Sunday to discuss recent developments of the situations in Yemen.

The Saudi news agency has said today the meeting would be held at the headquarters of the GCC General Secretariat in the Saudi capital Riyadh under chairmanship of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) foreign minister Abdullah bin Zaid Al Nhayan, head of the present session of the ministerial council.

The Saudi news agency said the meting aims to discuss develop moments of the situations in Yemen in the light of what the GCC states had agreed in their ministerial council meeting held on 3 April 2011 and he extraordinary session of the ministerial council held on 10 April 2011 concerning the conducting of contacts with the government and the opposition in Yemen through he GCC initiative.
