Almotamar.net, Saba - Sana’a- President Ali Abdullah Saleh delivered a speech on Friday before masses crowds of people who rallied in Al-Sabeen Square.

In his speech, President Saleh strongly condemned the incident, which happened on Wednesday afternoon, when protestors from the Sana'a University neighborhood moved towards Al-Thawrah Sports City, where they clashed with supporters of the constitutional legitimacy who were carrying out a sit-in there.

"You saw how they pulled the elderly people and trod on them. They do not respect blood, elderly or youth", said Saleh, adding that those killers, bandits and traitors should be condemned by everyone.

President Saleh greeted the masses of Yemeni people for their patriotic stances, confirming his commitment to the constitutional legitimacy.

He pointed out that those tremendous crowds of citizens, who he said are the masses of 2011 appear again just as they appeared in 2006, are the reply of the masses of Yemeni people to those who seek to overthrow the democratic and constitutional legitimacy.

Concluding his speech, President Saleh renewed his thanks and appreciation to the masses of Yemeni people, men and women, for their steadfastness in face of the conspiratorial schemes and their courageous national positions.
