Almotamar.net - Sana’a-Head of the Yemeni caretaker government Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar has on Sunday headed for the Sultanate of Oman in the outset of a Gulf tour including Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Upon leaving Sana’a International Airport Dr Mujawar said he would carry letters from President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the leaders of the Gulf States dealing with bilateral relations, developments in the Yemeni arena and the efforts being exerted for overcoming the current political crisis. He added the letters include renewal of emphasis regarding Yemen’s keenness and its political leadership on success of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) initiative for resolving the political crisis in Yemen, giving precedence to the homeland’s interest and putting it above all consideration.

Dr Mujawar considered the GCC initiative a good opportunity for all political parties for coming out of the crisis, valuing the keenness of the brothers in the GCC states on solving the crisis out of their keenness of security, stability and unity and safety of Yemen as that is considered an essential factor and important for security and stability of the region.
