Almotamar.net - Sana’a- In his meeting in Sana’a on Sunday with the American ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein, vice-President Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi discussed several issues and topics related to the current developments in the Yemeni arena and nature of required cooperation for ensuring all basic services such as oil, gas and electricity in addition to consolidation of ceasefire completely and comprehensively and the work for evacuating the state institutions which were attacked.

The two men have also discussed the importance of cooperation by the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) for achieving the sought after successes and giving precedence to the national interest rather than other interests, especially that the current circumstances are complicated and difficult. The meeting also discussed cooperation of all political parties, civil society organisations and all various social personalities for preventing any sabotage or hostile operations against public and private interests, ensuring roads and pulling out any illegitimate armed presence in the cities.

The American ambassador has affirmed condemnation of the United States of America of the aggression which targeted last Friday Al-Nahdain Mosque in the Presidency House when President Ali Abdullah Saleh and senior officials of the state performing Friday prayers and what resulted of that aggression.

The American ambassador wished speedy recovery of President Saleh and all the injured and offered condolences to all families of the martyrs in this incident as well as the full cooperation in all that concerns security, stability and unity of Yemen, pointing out that the United States understands the nature of the difficult circumstances which Yemen experiences at the present time.
