Almotamar.net - Moscow- Yemen’s ambassador to Federative Russia Dr Mohammed Saleh Ahmed al-Hilali met in Moscow on Thursday Russian Foreign Undersecretary for Middle East and North Africa Affairs, during which the ambassador offered a full description of the criminal attack which targeted the President in Al-Nahdain Mosque in the Presidential Palace in Sana’a, along with senior officials of the state, committed by rancorous forces aiming at dragging Yemen to violence and chaos.

Ambassador al-Hilali also handed over a copy of a Yemen government statement on the condemned criminal incident. Al-Hilali also assured the Russian official on the health condition of the President and recovery as he is, and the injured senior officials of the state, under treatment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Al-Hilali also pointed out that matters in Yemen are going on normally and that there is a follow-up of different issues and the government works well according to directives by the Vice-President of the republic Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi.

For his part the Russian Foreign Undersecretary expressed his regret for the painful incident and denounced all acts of violence and terror of all their forms and called on all the Yemenis to sit to dialogue and give priority to Yemen’s interest, security and stability and to respond to the essence and content of the Gulf Cooperation Council initiative which Russia views it as a solution key for the current crisis and the peaceful transfer of power.

The Russian official wished for President Saleh quick recovery and for all the injured in the incident and for Yemen stability and peace, saying “We are interested in interest and stability of friendly Yemen with which we are linked with historical relations, cooperation and multi interests.
