Almotamar.net - Yemen’s Deputy Information Minister Abdeh Mohammed al-Janadi said Wednesday that the investigation team formed from various security apparatuses was about to end its work concerning investigating into the incident of the attack that targeted the President of the Republic and senior leaderships of the state while they were performing the Friday prayers on Friday before last.

In a press conference on Wednesday , he said there was not one person or side behind the operation but rather took part in it a number of sides , indicating that those standing behind that aggression are uncivil forces that do not believe in the sovereignty of the law and peaceful transfer of power.

Al-Janadi had called on all political forces to condemn that criminal event and criticized some personalities that condemned it in a shy way.

Al-Janadi ridiculed the call for establishing a Transitional Council, saying that call is as a call for the return to the totalitarian system.

On the health condition of the President he said it is very good and what enhances that was the phone call the President received from the Saudi King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz on Tuesday evening.

Regarding the war on terror al-Janadi said the government forces were waging a war against al-Qaeda in Abyan and the southern governorates. He added that al-Qaeda is waging a war by the help of large numbers from Aden-Abyan army in an attempt to control the southern provinces and international trade routes.

On the agreement concluded by the Vice President with leaderships of the Joint Meeting Parties he said it was agreed on consolidation of ceasefire but there are still many breaches, among them attacks on military camps in Arhab and Taiz areas.

Al-Janadi also called on state f Qatar to lift its hand concerning the financial and material support for schism inside the army and to work for security and stability of the country, considering what is presently doing is not in its interest or the interest of the countries of the region.

He had clarified that the authorities disclosed financial remittances via the state of Qatar, pointing out that the agent in that is the former Yemeni ambassador Abdul Wali al-Shamiri.
