Almotamar.net - Yemen’s Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has affirmed that the existing orientation of the government and the General People’s Congress (GPC) is represented by the call for a comprehensive national dialogue on grounds of the Gulf initiative aimed at settling the political crisis which Yemen is experiencing for several months.

The Minister, in a statement to the Emirates newspaper Al-Khaleej in its Wednesday issue, indicated that existing international and regional stands towards the situations in Yemen are heading towards the support for peaceful settlement of the crisis via dialogue between the effective parties in the arena in the manner contributing to ensure security and stability of Yemen.

Dr al-Qirbi described the health condition of President Ali Abdullah Saleh as “excellent” and considered defining the time of his return to the homeland as connected to the doctors who are supervising his health treatment in the Military Hospital in Riyadh and said “ this return has become imminent. “

Al-Qirbi has denied that there tension in the existing relations between the Yemeni government and the United States and affirmed that the relationship of Yemen with the United States was not affected as a result of the existing political crisis in the country as the United States government has shown stands keen on Yemen’s unity and guaranteeing its stability and there should be an effective solution to the escalating crisis through the positive national dialogue between all the Yemeni parties.
