Almotamar.net, Saba - Sana’a- Germany has strongly condemned the July 3 terrorist attack on the Presidential Palace's mosque targeting President Ali Abdullah Saleh and number of states officials, German official said on Monday.

This came by German Government's envoy Michael Joseph, who came to Yemen after paying a visit to President Ali Abdullah Saleh in his royal suite at the Military Hospital in Riyadh, during his meeting with Vice President Abdo Rabu Mansour Hadi.

Joseph briefed Hadi on the outcome of his visit to President Saleh, saying the meeting reviewed several issues related to the Yemeni-German mutual relations as well as the Gulf initiative and ways to assist Yemen to overcome its crisis peacefully.

“German Government appreciates all huge efforts carried out by President Saleh from the beginning of the country crisis", the German envoy said.

In return, the Vice President welcomed the German official and pointed out to the role of Germany which is one of the donors countries supporting Yemen and its development process in various fields.

He also shades some light on the current political situation and the country's problem, noting to the ongoing efforts to find peace solutions with the positions and all sides.

"We are counting on the role of the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council as well as the United States in this issue", Hadi added.
