Almotamar.net - Sana’a- Vice President Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi discussed in Sana’a on Thursday with the visiting United Nations delegation, headed by Gamal Bin Omar , Advisor to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon , subjects of dialogue between the General People’s Congress (GPC) and its allies and the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) and its partners.

There has been discussion and opinion exchange on what so far has been fulfilled in this field in participation with all other political parties and civil society organisations and the important role that must be undertaken in the manner pouring in interest of security. stability and unity of Yemen with the aim of deep reforms and accurate discussion on visions, ideas and the principles based on the Gulf initiative and the UN Security council statement, as well as displaying the general features on the roadmap for delivering Yemen from this difficult circumstance and the grinding crisis in a way any party would feel it is under injustice and that is by agreement of all without possibility for any party to hinder what has been agreed on.

The Vice President pointed out there must be priority for the national interest to private considerations or specified agendas. He affirmed that the national convictions must lead the all to the dialogue table as considered the sole outlet for Yemen from the current crisis and establishment of a foundation of accord and agreement with the spirit and feelings of sensing the great problem and the grave suffering that included the entire Yemeni society.

Hadi has also drawn the attention that the deep reforms must not be looked at from one perspective but rather from all sides of conducting comprehensive reforms , indicating that Yemen is at present experiencing political, security and economic crisis and all have to observe that and have the sense of national responsibility in a full way.

For his part Bin Omar said the United Nations calls on all Yemeni sides and political forces for conducting constructive national dialogue without exclusion of anyone an for creating secure climates for Yemen’s coming out of this crisis, indicating that there are visions and ideas that have been discussed with various parties in the way leading to the stage of building trust, harmony and making of peace and drawing the roadmap for the smooth transfer of power.

He has drawn the attention that the United Nations, the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council would be sponsors and participants in supervision and assistance on that.

The meeting was attended by the Yemeni foreign Minister and the UN Resident Coordinator in Yemen.
