Almotamar.net-saba - The cabinet discussed on Tuesday the developments of the political crisis occurring in the country for over seven months.

In its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the cabinet addressed the significant perspective included in the President Ali Abdullah Saleh's speech in Eid al-Fitr on the urgent practical solutions to end the crisis.

The cabinet asserted the importance of responding to the President's call for all relevant sides to take part in a dialogue to thwart the plots against Yemen's unity, freedom, democracy and security as well as to succeed the efforts of the Vice President Abdo Rabbo Mansour Hadi.

It also pointed to the importance of continuing the steps agreed upon previously to realize the desired goals in an accurate timeframe concordant with the periods set in the constitution and the pertinent laws and based on the Gulf initiative and the Security Council's statement and efforts.

The cabinet indicated to the significant of achieving the constitutional pending commitments as soon as possible and arranging for free presidential election.

It reiterated the assertion that the dialogue between all political powers is the best option to overcome the crisis in the country.

On the other hand, the Cabinet has listened to a report of Foreign Minister on the establishment of the Republic of South Sudan lately.

The cabinet decided to recognize South Sudan officially.
