By: almotamar.net - SANA'A- Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, Chief observer of the EU Election Mission to Yemen (EUEM), said the number of international observers who will monitor the September election in Yemen is sufficient.

It is not necessary for observers to be present in every constituency, she said in an interview carried out by al-Osbou' newspaper. "We have started our work early. There has been a team work in Yemen since the beginning of August," she added.

According to Nicholson, observers depend on international standards. The EU mission also monitors the neutrality in running the elections, and the extent of freedom for both political parties and candidates. The EU mission is not working in favor of one party or another, she noted.
