Almotamar.net - SANAA-The workers of oil, minerals and chemicals have condemned the terrorist acts that targeted Friday oil installations in Marib and Shabwa.

The oil trade union said in its statement it had been shocked by the news of the criminal act with which the criminals wanted to damage the country�s oil interests and to kill thousands of workers in them. The statement said the will of God and alertness of security men helped abort the criminal act intended by the rancorous against this homeland and its oil installations in the governorates of Hadramout and Marib.

In the statement which almotamar.net obtained a copy, the oil Union said it condemns and denounces that criminal act and any other act against our country and �we are astonished of such operations which whatever their names are, they are beyond expressing of any motive whatever its causes or purposes were,� adding that dangers of such criminal acts are severer than any rancorous thought.
The statement mentioned that targeting oil and gas installations in those areas would not affect just the operating companies and the workers there but its damage would harm the country�s economy because oil represents a basic pillar of the economy.
The oil workers said in their union�s statement they pledge to sacrifice their lives for the homeland and affirmed that such criminal acts would increase their keenness on the homeland interests and its progress and prosperity. At the same time they called on all concerned authorities, including the security to take all deterrent steps against whoever thinks of targeting security and stability of the homeland.
