By: Mohammed Taher - AL-BAIDHA- The General People's Congress (GPC)'s presidential candidate, Ali Abdullah Saleh, Sunday called on the Yemeni people and political forces to make the 20th of September a day without violence, tension,and arms.
Saleh also called on them to vote for those who will represent them in the presidential and local council elections peacefully. In an election campaign rally held Sunday in al-Baidha governorate, Saleh denied the Joint Meeting Parties' rumors about a new doze "price rise". Farmers and fishermen are to be supported, he said.Saleh pointed out that there are 150 journalists, and 140 international observers, who are found everywhere to report on people's views freely and cover the election and democratic process in the country. Saleh further called on
the Yemeni people to be careful about and aware of the rumors. "We are talking about this democratic cermoney that started 28 days ago. There are still only two days, today in al-Baidha and tomorrow in the capital city of Sana'a," Saleh noted.
Saleh also praised the democratic motion that establishes the new futur for Yemen and peaceful transfer of power.
