Minister of Public Health and Population Ahmed al-Ansi discussed here on Tuesday with the Cuban Ambassador to Yemen David Paulovich cooperation ties between the two countries in health field and means to promote them.

The meeting touched on the role that the Cuban specialized medical teams can play in the Yemeni health facilitations.

The Minister noted to the Cuban experience in the medical area as well as the qualitative leap achieved in the field of primary health care.

For his part, the Cuban Ambassador expressed his country's readiness to send medical teams to Yemen at the end of November, pointing out to the fruitful results carried out by the Cuban medical teams for Yemen.
