almotamar.net - The Dutch journalist Judith Spiegel and her husband left Sana’a on Wednesday after they were released by their abductors on Tuesday.

In a press conference at Sana’a Airport before their departure, the Dutch journalist confirmed that she and her husband enjoy good health and they do not have any idea about the identity of the kidnappers or the place where they were present.

She pointed out that they were sent to a place close to the Dutch Embassy in Sana'a ,affirming that she loves Yemen and they will return to visit it again.

For his part, the Dutch ambassador to Yemen Jeroen Verheul expressed his thanks and appreciation for the tireless efforts made by the Yemeni government for the release of the Dutch journalist and her husband.

The Dutch ambassador pointed out that the journalist and her husband were sent to the Dutch Embassy and the news of their arrival was a surprise to the Embassy, and the embassy does not have any information on the actions that have been made for their release and that the task of the embassy was limited to receiving Judith and her husband after they were released and then sanding them to Sana’a Airport .

The Dutch journalist Judith Spiegel and her husband Boudewijn Berendsen have been kidnapped in Yemen since the 8th of July.
