A tribal leader killed on Saturday when his car exploded in Baydha governorate, an official in the governorate said.

Sheikh Mohamed al-Rayami was killed when a bomb planted in his car detonated at 11:30 a.m.. The explosion also injured seriously his son, 19, and daughter, 6, the official said.

He added that the security services rushed to the scene after the explosion, and began investigation.
