almotamar.net - A soldier was killed on Monday in an attack on a military position in Habilain area of Lahj governorate, a military official said.

Armed assailants attacked on Monday morning a military position killing soldier Mohammed al-Bahloli and wounding others, the official said, adding that the a number of the assailants were killed and injured.

The leaderships of the governorate and the fourth military region have adhered to exercise the highest level of self-restraint with the assailants, he said.

However, he cautioned the outlaws that attacks on military and security camps and public and private institutions are unacceptable and will be encountered strictly.

He said that in pursuance of the directives of the leadership of the Defense Ministry and the General Staff, the commander of the fourth military region Mahmoud Ahmad Salem has visited to Habilain, where he would hold meetings with a number of personalities and sheikhs to contain the situation.
