almotamar.net - Yemen and the European Union (EU) signed here on Tuesday two financing agreements to support Yemen's efforts to enhance food security in rural areas.

The agreement stipulates the allocation of �86,270,064, including �15 million as government funds, to support food security in rural areas which will be undertaken by the International Fund for Agricultural Development "IFAD".

The agreement was signed by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Mohammed al-Sa'adi and head of EU mission in Yemen Bettina Muscheidt.
