almotamar.net - The presidential committee charged with resolving the conflict between the Houthis and Salafis in Haradh town of Hajjah governorate started on Sunday its field tasks.

The committee chaired by the Governor of Hajjah Ali al-Qaisi reviewed security situation and consequences of the ongoing conflict between both sides.

In a meeting attended by members of the committee including high-ranking military and security officers, the committee discussed how to impose security and stability in the governorate and put an end to all conflicts.

Al-Qaisi pointed out that both sides of the conflict expressed their willingness to reach an agreement with the aim of surrendering conflicting positions to military and security units.

Meanwhile, al-Qaisi urged all citizens to cooperate in securing roads and public places, stressing that Yemen's security and military services are able to achieve all their tasks
