Traffic accidents throughout the country killed 36 people in the first week of the current February, the Interior Ministry said on Saturday.

A report issued by the Ministry showed that 120 traffic accidents in the early seven days of February, resulting in injuring 180 people, of which 109 are in critical health condition.

The accidents have caused nearly YR34 million as financial loses, according the report.

The reasons behind the accidents include over speed, drivers and pedestrians' carelessness, wrong overtaking on the roads and others.
