almotamar.net - Arhab tribesmen and Houthis signed on Sunday a ceasefire agreement under the supervision of a presidential mediation committee.

It was signed by both parties' representatives in the presence of the mediation committee's chairman Ali al-Jaifi, the commander of the Army Reserve.

The nine-item agreement stipulates a last ceasefire begins immediately after the signing, remove the checkpoints of both parties from all roads in Arhab area and the army establishes two checkpoints and sends patrols to ensure the safe passage of all.

Both sides have to simultaneously hand over the areas of clashes to the army in the first two days after the signing in a way the committee determines.

The agreement obliges the pro-fighters coming from outside the area to withdraw to their regions of origin in a week starting from the third day of the signing.

The agreement also stipulates the exchange of detainees and the dead bodies within three days from the agreement's date of signing under the supervision of the committee.
