Almotamar.net - Shura Council Chairman Abdul-Rahman Othman and his accompanying delegation returned to Sana’a on Thursday after participating in the 8th conference of the Association of Senates and Shura and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab world (ASSCAA) in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa on 5-6 April.

Othman praised the success of the ASSCAA conference and the results of his meetings with his counterparts participating in the Addis Ababa conference.

He said that he had briefed the participants in the ASSCAA conference on developments in Yemen, expressing deep satisfaction with their appreciation for the position of Yemen and the role of the Shura Council in the activities of the ASSCAA.
