By: Abdul-Karim al-Nahari - DHAMAR- The Yemeni Socialist Party (YSP), Haq Party, Popular Forces Federation, and Nasserite Unionist Organization in Dhamar governorate accuse the Islah Party (Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen) of dealing with unknown parties in running the election campaign for the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP).
A source close to the four parties said that the Islah dominates 64 percent of the election committees and more than 90 percent of the local council seats.
The source told almotamar.net the Islah monopolizes the JMP's facilities to run its election campaigns, without giving other parties in the JMP bloc more chance in running the September elections.
The JMP leaders in Dhamar governorate have sent several letters of complaint to the head of Bin Shamlan's election campaign, Zaid al-Shami, the head of the JMP Executive Board, Mohammed Qahtan, and Ibrahim al-Hae'r, head of the JMP Election Office. But they didn't respond to their letters, the source added.
Moreover, a source in the JMP Executive Board of Dhamar governorate affirmed the coming hours would witness the disintegration of the JMP bloc, starting from Dhamar governorate if the Islah higher leaderships didn't take the initiative to settle the differences and disclose the "invisible hands that run the JMP election campaign" that lead the country to the "unknown".
The JMP bloc consists of the Islah Party, Yemeni Socialist Party, Haq Party, Popular Forces Federation, and Nasserite Unionist Organization
