Almotamar.net - A senior intelligence officer has survived an assassination attempt in Hadramout governorate, a security official in the governorate said on Monday.

Gunmen opened fire on Sunday evening on Col. Ahmed Radman, the Director of Political Security division in Mukalla harbor. He was wounded in his shoulder with two bullets, the official said.

Radman is now receiving medical treatment in a hospital in the capital Sana'a, he said, adding that his health condition is stable.

According to the official, two people were injured slightly in the incident.
