Almotamar.net - The security services have arrested a terrorist cell composed of 7 elements in Hafloon area in Hadramout province, an official source at the Supreme Security Committee said.

The source revealed that the members of this cell, led by the terrorist Rushdi Abdullah Ba'oweidan (nicknamed Abu Abdullah al-Hadrami), were planning to target oil tankers and installations in Hadramout.

The source explained that this cell has involved in terrorist operations targeting the interests and vital installations, including the terrorist attack on a checkpoint in al-Madhi area in Ridah District of Hadramout province on March 24 that led to the killing of 20 troops of the Special Security Forces.

A number of weapons, explosives and documents that were in possession of this terrorist cell were seized in this qualitative security operation, the source added.
