Almotamar.net - Ambassadors of Ten countries group sponsoring the Gulf initiative have confirmed their countries' keenness on the success of the political transition in Yemen, including the Constitution Drafting Committee (CDC) work.

During the meeting of the CDC with a number of ambassadors of the Group on Sunday, Head of the Committee Esmail al-Wazeer expected the completion of the initial drafting of the constitutional texts regulating the federal authorities late in July.

Al-Wazeer reviewed the stages of the committee's work starting from sorting and classification of the national dialogue conference (NDC) outcomes, and then tasks of the initial drafting, as well as the mechanism of action of the committee for the next phase.

He briefed the ambassadors on the results of the committee's visit to Germany and how it benefited from the presentations of the international experts on the successful federal experiences in a number of the world countries, including the German experience.

Deputy Head of the CDC ,Dr. Nehal al-Awlaki, hailed the support provided by the ten states sponsoring the Gulf initiative and all countries supporting the transition process in Yemen.

At the meeting, the ambassadors expressed their satisfaction for the efforts made by the members of the CDC in order to accomplish the committee's tasks in drafting the constitution.
