By: almotamar.net - TAIZ- Armed men belonging to the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) killed Wednesday a police officer in constituency No (37), Taiz governorate, and thwarted the voting process there.
The representative of the General People's Congress (GPC) in Shra'b al-Salam district of Taiz governorate said an armed group led by a leader from the Nasserite Unionist stormed into al-Jeel al-Jadeed School in constituency No (37) and killed a police officer, and surrounded the voters inside the school.
He added the voting process resumed after the security forces managed to force the armed men to leave the school.
Meanwhile, a local source in Amran governorate said Islahi members killed the head of the election committee in Habour Dhalima district.
