By: Mohammed al-Haidari - SANA'A- The election process is going well amid safe atmospheres, Abdu al-Janadi, head of Information Sector at the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) has said.
In a Wednesday press conference held in the SCER's Information Center, al-Janadi said a soldier was killed and 11 others were injured in a traffic incident as their military vehicle turned over in Raimah governorate.
Al-Janadi added that the SCER received a report that security forces arrested Wednesday a man with explosives intending to attack the election committee in al-Tahree area, Sana'a city.
Meanwhile, an official in the Ministry of Interior denied such news. "The suspected man was carrying only some medications," the source told Saba news agency. He called on media outlets to make sure of the validity of news stories by contacting concerned authorities before publishing them.
