Almotamar Net - At least 66 people were killed on Thursday in a suicide bombing in the capital Sanaa and a car bomb attack on an army checkpoint in eastern Hadramout governorate.

A suicide bomb attack took place in Tahrir Square in Sanaa on hundreds of supporters of Houthi Group, who were arriving in the Square to stage a protest against foreign interference in Yemens internal affairs.

The suicide bombing targeted the security cordon of the protest, a source in the protests organizing committee said.

Almotamar.net - At least 66 people were killed on Thursday in a suicide bombing in the capital Sana'a and a car bomb attack on an army checkpoint in eastern Hadramout governorate.

A suicide bomb attack took place in Tahrir Square in Sana'a on hundreds of supporters of Houthi Group, who were arriving in the Square to stage a protest against foreign interference in Yemen's internal affairs.

The suicide bombing targeted the security cordon of the protest, a source in the protest's organizing committee said.

A source in the Health Ministry said that the terrorist attack left 47 dead and 75 wounded.

Early today, a suicide bomb struck an army checkpoint in Hadramout followed by clashes with the checkpoint soldiers.

The attack occurred in Ghabr area eastern Mokalla, the main city of Hadramout, killed 19 soldiers and wounded 13 others, a military official said.

The official added that many of the attackers were killed during the clashes.
