Almotamar Net - The Presidency and the Government on Thursday strongly condemned the terrorist attacks taken place in the capital Sanaa, Hadramout and Baida governorates.

A suicide bomb attack occurred on Thursday in Tahrir Square in Sanaa against hundreds of supporters of Houthi Group left 47 dead and 75 wounded. They were rallying in the Square to stage a protest against foreign interference in Yemens internal affairs.

Earlier, 19 soldiers were killed and 13 others wounded in another suicide bomb struck an army checkpoint in Hadramout. The attack took place in eastern Mokalla, the main city of Hadramout.

At Wednesday's dawn, gunmen of al-Qaeda carried out multiple attacks on government offices and security posts in Baida governorate. The attackers used car bombs in the attacks and then clashed violently with the security troops guarding the facilities.

The security forces have thwarted the attacks, a security official said, stressing that all facilities are under the control of the security guards.
