The United Nations Secretary-General Special Envoy for Yemen Affairs Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmad has expected the inter-Yemeni talks to be kicked off mid-November.

In a statement to Reuters, the UN envoy said that “I expect a specific date will be defined before the middle of November and I also expect the dialogue to start before middle of November or at least on November 15.”

Ould Cheikh has already warned of losing dialogue chances as it will affect the future of Yemen and asserted that there is no military solution for the crisis of Yemen, noting that only peace talks will pave the way for a better future.
