The Saudi aggression and its mercenaries did not abide by the ceasefire announced by the United Nations, a military official said. 

The ceasefire began on Sunday midnight and is scheduled to last till the end of peace talks in Kuwait set to begin on April 18.

The source explained that The Saudi fighter jets continued to launch airstrikes on several provinces and its mercenaries continued to carry out attacks on sites of army and popular committees in governorates of Taiz, Jawf, Mareb, Shabwa and Baida, the official said.

Ansarallah and the General People Congress (GPC) announced minutes after Sunday midnight their commitment to halt hostilities, but said they would fight back if under attack.
