Almotamar Net - The UN special envoy to Yemen called on the parties to the Yemeni crisis to fully respect the ceasefire in order to create a favorable environment for the talks to be held on April 18 in Kuwait.

In a statement aired by the United Nations radio on Tuesday, Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed said that the parties to the Yemeni crisis have committed to the terms and conditions of the cease-fire, which "is critical and urgent and much needed."

The UN envoy warned that Yemen can not lose more lives, calling on all parties and the international community to support this agreement firmly, until the cessation of hostilities constitutes a first step in the return of peace to the country.
