The 2nd conference for the Association of Senates and Equivalent Councils in Africa and the Arab World (ASECAAW) was concluded
on Thursday by issuing a statement.

The statement confirmed believe of the association with democracy and respecting human rights and basic foundations of wise governance.

It rejected all form of interfere in internal affairs of any country, saying that any ourty have right to run its affairs as it like.

The statement of the association emphasized importance of dialogue between all peoples, condemning all forms of terrorism as it is dangerous enemy for human beings.

The association condemned the terrorist attacks which killed many people in Amman on Wednesday evening, expressing condolence for families of victims and Jordanian people and government.

The statement also affirmed importance of making an end for occupations in Palestine and Iraq, and help the Palestinian people to set up its
independent state.

The association expressed in its statement appreciation for steps taken toward realizing stability in Iraq, stressing on protecting unity and sovereignty of Iraq.

The association also expressed optimism over peace process in Sudan, calling all members to gather efforts to realize security and peace in Somalia.

The member countries also called to double their efforts to reduce poverty, calling rich countries to cancel debts on poor countries and help them
to combating diseases and reduce unemployment rate.

They approved a draft over the annual budget of the association, praising contribution offered by Yemen such as offering headquarters of the associations
