Almotamar Net - President Ali Abdullah Sale on Thursday renewed call of Yemen to remove the name of a Yemeni cleric Sheikh Abdul-Majeed
al-Zindani from a list of suspected financiers of terrorism.

In his meeting in Washington with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Robert Mueller, president Saleh asked to drop name of al-Zindani from terror-funding list.

He also asked United States to hand over Sheikh Mohammed al-Moayyad and Mohammed Zayad to Yemeni government.

Both men are detained in a US jail in terror charges.

President Saleh said that fight against terrorism need to gather effort of all as it threatens security and stability of the world.

He also discussed with FBI director the cooperation between Yemen and United States in combating terrorism.

The FBI director valued positive results achieved by Yemen in fighting terrors, confirming concern of United States to enhance its partnership
with Yemen in different fields especially in the security cooperation in combating terror.
