Awadh al-Saqtary said Tuesday that a memorandum of understanding has been signed for the building of a 60-Megawatt capacity wind power station in al-Makha area to meet demand for electricity. The station will be built in the same area of the gas-powered station that is expected to operate the beginning of 2009.
