The UAE pavilion, showcases a diverse range of exhibits, attracted several hundred visitors on the opening day. Following the success of the 'Made in UAE' series held in Yemen, Tanzania, Oman and Syria, the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company is now participating in the Damascus International Fair which opens the way for the participating national companies to strike huge commercial deals and contracts worth millions of Dirhams. It is part of the government's plan to support the national economy and consolidate the role of local companies by opening new markets for national products, boosting UAE's exports and furthering cooperation with other countries. The UAE's participation through the 'Made in UAE' series is an indicator of the healthy ties between the UAE and Syria.
