SANAA-Sheikh Sultan Al-Barakani, the assistant secretary general of the General People’s Congress (GPC) has ridiculed those who unleash judgments in advance with regard to results of the upcoming Yemeni elections and raise slogans of forgery, considering such prior accusations as disclosing the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP)’s desire to attain power from outside the democratic vying. In a statement to Abu Dhabi television last evening, al-Barakani said those who concede defeat options beforehand and lift up slogans of rigging while they have enough guarantees for fairness of the elections, want in fact to deform the image of Yemen and the democratic process that is enhanced with the presidential and local councils elections.
