Almotamar.net - An official source at the General People's Congress (GPC)'s General Secretariat described Wednesday the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP)'s statement on the stand towards the sabotage acts carried out by armed terrorist elements in some areas of Saada as "scandal".

The source played down the importance of what the statement contained, saying the stance announced in the name of the JMP member parties just implies the orientation of some beneficiary and opportunist leaderships inside the JMP. Those leaderships' interests and trends are connected to eruption of commotion, adding the statement contradicts the stands of the JMP parties' bases that align against all that targets the homeland security and stability.

The source called on all members and bases of the JMP and all the masses to consider the motives that made those leaderships justify acts of a terrorist group violating the law, blocking roads and killing and mutilating dead bodies of their victims.

The source added it is clear that the terrorist and destruction acts and represent a common denomination between the terrorists and some tense leaderships of the JMP that were supposed to express the stance of the majority of their parties' members that refuse terror and attempts of dismembering the homeland national integration.

The source also ridiculed contradiction mentioned in the statement in pretending to be concerned on Yemen's reputation and economy and blood of its sons, saying the acts belie the words. He pointed out that the recent past is full of shameful experiments of some of the JMP's partisan leaderships which had offered material and logistic support for the terror acts that inflicted gross damage on Yemen's reputation and national economy and was reflected on the citizen.
The GPC source mentioned it is not surprising that this few some to reproduce their ills, crises and severe enmity to the soil on which they live.

Commenting on the offer mentioned in the statement attributed to the JMP and the willingness to take part in effort for stopping the war and its ramifications, the source said the state establishments and with them the honorable people of the homeland are capable enough of quelling the sedition and those leaderships should respect the constitution and the law and demonstrate keenness on the homeland reputation by ceasing the feeding the sedition instead of looking for a role.

He also appreciated the patriotic attitude of some leaderships of the JMP at the parliament and the Shoura council regarding the acts of terror in some areas of Saada. He said that responsible stand embodies the responsible opposition and reflects the conscious stand that is concerned about the homeland issues as well as its security and stability.
