Almotamar.net - The present Ali Abdullah Saleh's visit to the United States of America acquires its importance due to the developed level of the Yemeni American relations. The expected meeting grouping President Sale and President Bush is the fourth during Bush's term of office in the White House.

According to official Yemeni sources the president's visit is to deal with the existing cooperation between Yemen and the US in various fields politically and security or with regard to Yemen's seeking for attracting American businessmen and companies to invest in Yemen.

President Sale said "No doubt our visit to the United States would represent an occasion to be seized by us for calling American companies and businessmen to invest in Yemen and they will receive all care and encouragement realizing joint benefit and interests to both sides." The president added there are successful examples of American investments in Yemen confirming "We are going ahead to take more measures aimed at offering more facilities to investors and simplify procedures for them within the frame of one window through the Public Authority for Investments and to found an investment environment, safe and serious for investors." He expressed optimist for the future of investment in Yemen. President Sale said repeated meetings of the two countries officials strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation between them and open to them wide horizons for translating aspirations of the Yemeni and American peoples,

The two leaders are expected to discuss the successes Yemen has achieved in stabilization of democracy and democratic and judicial reforms and the; local rule.

On his arrival in Washington President Sale said among other things the regional issues are one of the outstanding premises of his talks with the American president. The talks will also deal with developments and the current situations at both regional and Arab levels as well as international issues of common interest mainly the situations in Palestine, Iraq, Lebanon, Darfur and Somalia in addition to the Arab peace initiative.

The president affirmed it is of interest of all to have peace, security and stability established in the region in accordance with the bases expressed in the Arab initiative.
