During his meeting in Aden Sunday with leaderships of civil society organisations the president added " The issue of housing societies in Aden has been solved by appropriating $ 40 million and YR 60 billion and now they have begun finishing the infrastructure and in the budget of 2009 there will be adoption of the costs of the electric network.
The president pointed to an agreement on reducing the interests of loans to citizens to 40% and added when the wheel of development rotates and the infrastructure begins to be complete that would encourage the private sector to invest in this sector while the state provides the land especially for housing purposes in Aden, Lahj, Hadramout, Hudeida, Taiz and the capital Sana'a and other governorates.
At the beginning the president greeted the audience and the people on the Yemeni revolution of 26 September and 14 October and the 40trh anniversary of the Independence Day on 30 November.
The president also pointed to the meetings during his stay in Aden with all political and social and cultural activities from the governorates of Aden, Lahj and Abyan, saying the dialogues and discussions and meetings were very good because they are connected to the issues interesting the citizen and proceed from keenness on Yemen's higher interests.
